Full Description

{1} House. Early C19, with C20 alterations and extensions. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roofs, stone end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Large central C20 stone porch. 12-pane sash windows to ground and first floors with flat-arched heads. Quoins, hollow-chamfered stone eaves and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Lunette in gable either end. Single-storey C20 extensions to left and right.

{2} Early 19th century house, with 20th century extensions and alterations. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3 window range. Single-storey 20th extensions to left and right.

{3} Mill House. Both the mill and the mill house are ironstone buildings which are still in existence - the mill itself has a red brick extension to the side, the former now houses an antiques business whilst the latter is in use as offices. Film 3, photo 24,25; Film 4, photo 1.
