Farmhouse. Late C17th with C15th origins, altered C19th and C20th.The only remaining 15th-century feature is a blocked window in the west gable.

Full Description
{1} Farmhouse. Late C17th with C15th origins, altered C19th and C20th. Coursed squared ironstone, C20 plain-tile roof, stone end and ridge stacks, that to left end with pair of stone flues with moulded bases and caps. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. 6-panel door to left of centre in C20 stone porch. 3-light casement windows to ground and first floors except for 2-light casement to left of far right window, all with wood lintels. Stone-coped gables with kneelers. Lower 2-storey C18 extension and back door in C20 porch. Left gable end facing Main Street has large blocked C15 window at first floor level with hollow chamfers, 2-centred head and hood mould.

{7} [Former list description] The manor house at Maidford dates from the late 15th or early 16th century, but the only feature of that time remaining is a window in the W gable end.
{8} The house is mainly 17th century, and apart from the blocked light in the West gable is not architecturally outstanding.
