Full Description

{1} Range of farm buildings including barn. C.1840. Coursed squared ironstone, hipped slate roofs. U-plan. Principal range facing farmhouse across yard contains a 4-bay barn with central opposing double-leaf doors flanked by former granary to right with 4-bay waggon standing below, open on posts to field to rear, and former stable and hayloft to left. These three buildings are under one roof. The lower return wings are now cattle sheds. That to left formerly housed stabling for working houses. Main range has tie and collar beams. Part of a model farm complex.

{5} Most of the farm buildings were converted to domestic accommodation in 1995-6 and there remains almost nothing by way of physical evidence of their former use, but their overall plan-form.
