Building record 9067/1/1 - Wootton Hill Farmhouse

The farmhouse is a 17th century building, built of squared rubble with flush ashlar quoins. The Welsh slate roof has a cyma recta stone cornice and stone copings on kneelers to the side elevation gables. The house is L-shaped in plan and is of two-storeys with attics.

Wootton Hill Farmhouse, West Barn and East Barn form a group.

{3} The OS 1834 I" map shows a trackway from Wootton Hill Farm running west towards the canal, terminating at a small barn or field shelter.
