Summary

H-plan rectory built in 1720 and altered in the 19th century. Built of coursed rubble, ashlar and some red brick, with a Welsh slate roof. The house is of two-storeys with attics. The central west door has a surround of fluted Doric pilasters, broken entablature with triglyphs and an open pediment.

Full Description

{1} 1720, altered C19. Coursed rubble, ashlar, some red brick. Welsh slated roof. H plan, 2 storeys and attics. West front has narrow wings, centre 4 sash windows wide. Central west door in surround of fluted Doric pilasters, broken entablature with triglyphs, open pediment. Interior altered C19. C18 staircase (C20 balusters). H plan, refronted C18. Right hand wing extended to rear C18. Right hand elevation: sashes with chamfered lintels. Church of St Mary, The Old Rectory and Rectory Dovecote form a group.
