Summary

Dovecote, The Old Rectory. Square, two-storey dovecote partly built of chequer brickwork and partly of stone. The hipped Welsh slate roof formerly had a square, arched cupola supporting a weather vane in the shape of a coiled snake. Possibly demolished;

Full Description

{1} Early C18, in Rectory garden. Square plan, 2 storeys. Part chequer brickwork, part stone. Hipped stone slated roof, formerly with square, arched cupola, supporting weather vane in form of coiled snake. South front has round upper window; door and casements, round arched,on ground floor. Church of St Mary, The Old Rectory and Rectory Dovecote form a group.
