Full Description

{1} Bridge. Circa 1250, with later repairs. Limestone ashlar, coursed rubble and squared stone, southernmost arch lined with blue brick. 4 arches, 3 pointed and one round one (second froms) which is inscribed 1784. Upstream (west) side has cutwaters (two northern ones with moulded string) carried up as pedestrian refuges. Downstream (east) side shows signs of rebuilding, retains a fragment of string course above the second arch from north and reveals the top of a blocked arch some distance to south of river. Plain parapet with slightly cambered coping to bridge and long approach from north and south. Scheduled ancient monument.

{6} Bridge over River Ise, stone built, of five arches; much repaired. The centre arch is dated 1784. The bridge is mentioned in 1255.

{11} Geddington Bridge dates from C13th. It has large cutwaters on one side and two pointed arches, the round one of 1784. It has been much repaired.
