Full Description

{1} House. Dated 1705 on rainwater head. Limestone ashlar front, red brick to sides and rear, timber cornice. Hipped Collyweston stone slate roof with 2 massive moulded stone ridge stacks. 2 storeys, 11-window range. Double part-glazed doors in small porch in bay 8. Utterly plain ashlar facade with plate-glazed cross casements. 9 2-light casement pedimented dormers. Low later block links Dower House to Boughton House (q.v.). Interior not inspected.
