{1} C18th. 2 storeys in stone with hipped new slate roof with 1 hipped dormer. Hoist. 2 windows on 2 storeys, wood lintels and door with wood lintel. Ast Road elevation of 3 storeys. 5 windows to top floor, 1 blocked; 4 on first and ground floors, wood lintels, 2 blocked to left on ground. Centre double carriage doorway, flat arch, wood lintel. Left quoin cut. All the listed buildings on the east side of North Street form a group.

{3} Maltings, North Street: Malthouse is a stone structure on a plot of land between North Street and East Road. It is currently standing empty and out of use, but the sign indicates that it has been sold for development. The building is a large structure with very few windows (which are small in size), a large taking in door and two lucams. Film 3, photo 5-10.

{6}The Maltings main building is a 3 to 4 storey structure in the shape of a lightly splayed L Plan. At the eastern end of the south side of the East Street wing a single storey extension runs off. This range in turn abuts to a further single storey buidling as part of the range which then extends to the side of the two storey barn at its southern end. Within the enclosed ares there is a hard paved yard with a mixture of cobbles, stone setts and brick paviors.
