Summary

A rectangular 18th century pound is situated on the western side of Wansford Road. The structure survives as squared coursed limestone walls with stone on edge coping, the height of which was lowered during the 20th century. An entrance gap is located in the centre of the northern wall. A pound is shown here on the 1778 Enclosure Map.

Full Description

Pound. Probably C18 modified C20. Squared coursed limestone walls with stone-on-edge coping. Rectangular plan with opening in north wall. Wall probably lowered C20.
