Full Description

{1} Shown as Spinney Farm on Ordnance Survey map. House. Early C19 with re-used C17 masonry. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar facade and thatch roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range of C20 casements set in chamfered ashlar surrounds. Central, C20 door has similar surround. Ashlar gable parapets and brick and stone stacks at ends. C19 wing attached at right angels to rear. Interior has reused spine beams with lozenge decoration and open fireplace with bressumer.

{3} Two storeys, ashlar front wall, parapeted gables and thatched roof, class 4a with additions at rear, early 19th century. Reset 17th century features including ovolo-moulded surrounds to the windows and an axial beam carved with a diamond pattern. On a building behind is a reset slab inscribed 'W and M STRICKSON 1808'
