Summary

House. Early 19th century, probably with earlier origins. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with double pitch Collyweston and Welsh slate roofs with end and ridge chimney stacks. It has a two window range of horizontal sliding sashes to the first floor with a casement to the ground floor left and a door to the right.

Full Description

House. Early C19, probably with earlier origins. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally one-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range of horizontal sliding sash windows, at first floor and casement window with glazing bars, under wood lintel, to ground floor left. C19 part-glazed door, to right, is also under wood lintel. Stone stack at ridge. C19 extensions to rear. Interior not inspected. {5} [Former list description] Originally a row of five houses built in the 17th century with 19th century additions and alterations (with HER no 2853/0/91). The buildings are now divided into four dwellings: Numbers three, five and nine. The houses are constructed of squared coursed limestone with double pitch Collyweston and Welsh slate roofs with end and ridge chimney stacks. Number three has a two window range of horizontal sliding sashes to the first floor with a casement to the ground floor left and a door to the right.
