The barns are orientated on a north to south axis and are constructed of squared coursed limestone with a shared double pitch Collyweston slate roof. The mid 18th century barn has projecting ashlar parapets and quoins with a central cart entrance under a wooden lintel with pairs of ventilation slits each side of the door.
