Summary

Two barns are located 20 metres north of Home Farmhouse, on the western side of the High Street. The southern barn was built during the mid 18th century with a separate barn added to the northern gable in the 19th century. The barns are orientated on a north to south axis and are constructed of squared coursed limestone with a shared double pitch Collyweston slate roof. The mid 18th century barn has projecting ashlar parapets and quoins with a central cart entrance under a wooden lintel with pairs of ventilation slits each side of the door. The 19th century barn has a cart entrance on the left under a wooden lintel.

Full Description

{1} 2 barns. Mid C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roofs. 2 single-unit barns with central full height cart entrances. Barn to south is C18 with ashlar gable parapets.
