Summary

This site includes a house that is located on the northern side of Main Street that was constructed of coursed limestone with a double pitched slate roof and ashlar coping and kneelers. Chimney stacks are located on the ridge and western gable and the building has two bay windows on the ground floor and three gabled eaves dormers above. The building is believed to have been constructed during the 17th century with 18th and 20th century alterations.

Full Description

House. Mid C18. Regular coursed limestone with slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 2-window range, at ground floor, of C20 casements, in original openings, with wood lintels. Central C20 door under wood lintel. Three C20 wooden eaves dormers. Ashlar gable parapets and rendered stacks at ridge and end. C20 brick extension to rear. Interior: chamfered spine beams and 2 open fireplaces with bressumers.
