Summary

This site includes a house that is situated on the southern side of Church Street. The building was constructed of coursed limestone rubble and brick with a double pitched thatched roof during the mid to late 18th century.

Full Description

This property is alternatively addressed as Duke's Street. House. Mid/late C18. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally probably 2-unit plan, 2 storeys. Canted bay window, with stone base and thatch roof, to right and C20 single-light window to left. Central C20 door under wood lintel. No window to first floor at front. Brick gable parapets on line of party wall and rendered stack at end. Interior not inspected. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshir : p135)
