{3} Well head and attached trough. Built in the late C19th for the 4th Baron Lilford in memory of his son; ashlar trough and plinth. Wooden well head with plain tile roof, decorated with Gothic tracery and two angels. Inscription. Wooden covers to well and cast-iron well and lead spout to rear.
{4}{5}{6} On the east side of the Lilford to Thorpe Waterville road, opposite a row of former Lilford estate workers' cottages is a well and pump built as a memorial to Thomas Athurton Powys in 1882. Then single throw pump was worked by a five-spoked wheel, of which only the stumps of the spokes remain, on a crankshaft supported by two wooden A-frames. This is behind the rectangular stone well head, which has a spout at the rear and a trough at the side facing the road. The whole is surmounted by a tiled narrow roof, carried on elaborate brackets from two uprights, each with a carved angel, all wood. The well was in use until 1950 when the village was connected to mains water.
