Full Description
{1} Public house, now house. Early C18. Squared coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally 3-unit plan. Single storey with attic; 3-window range of C19 style casements under wood lintels. 4 casements under eyebrow dormers to attic. 2 C20 plank doors, under wood lintels, between window range. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge and end; central stack has ashlar plinth. Interior not inspected but probably has remains of open fireplace. Formerly the Rose and Crown public house.
