Full Description

{1} House and attached forge building. Datestone 1763. Squared coursed limestone with pantile roof. 3-unit plan with outshut. 2 storeys. 3-window range of casements under wood lintels. C20 door under wood lintel, with C20 hood, to right of centre. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge and ends. Datestone above door. Outbuilding attached to left, now part garage, is single storey with pantile roof and was formerly the forge. Rear has late C18 outshut with catslide roof. Interior: room to right of entrance has open fireplace with bressumer.
