Full Description

{1} Two houses originally 3. Early C18, with alterations. Squared coursed lias with slate roof. Originally each one-unit cottages. 2 storeys, together comprising 4-window range of casements under wood lintels, those to Clives End are C19 others, C20. Three doors between windows; one is C19 six- panelled. Ashlar gable parapets with kneelers. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Interior: Clives End has remains of open fireplace with chamfered bressumer over and bread oven to left. Chamfered ceiling beams :> nally 3. Early C18, with alterations. Datestone 1715 with C19 alterations. Squared coursed lias with corrugated iron roof. 4-unit plan. Single storey with attic. Ground floor of 4-window range, 3 casements with wood lintels and glazing bars and one sash to right has ashlar surround. One dormer with casement at first floor. Steep gabled roof has gable parapets and kneelers. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Right gable has two C19 sashes with ashlar surround with datestone and rema :> bove. Entrance at rear has plank door. Interior not inspected but probably has open fireplace.
