{4} A programme of building recording was carried out ahead of alteration and conversion. A 17th/18th century bakehouse building, composed of faced blocks of ironstone, with some larger quoin-type blocks at the corners of the south-west gable end, also stands to the east of The Manor House. The position of the former bakehouse oven was marked by an extensive wall scar and sooting of internal surfaces. It likely had a two-flue chimney but which had been removed by the date of the recording.
