Full Description

{1} House. Early C18. Coursed squared ironstone, hipped old tile roof with lead ridges, stone end stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and basement, 5-window range. All windows have moulded stone sills and stone lintels with keyblock, those to ground floor with 12-pane sashes, leaded cross-windows to first floor. Central ground floor window replaces door with overlight. Chamfered quoins and moulded stone plinth, first floor string course and eaves. Sides have single narrow blocked windows to ground and first floors with wing at lower level on left side with C20 door with 2 Sun insurance plaques above. Interior: stop-chamfered spine beams and one bolection moulded wood chimneypiece with late C18 cast-iron grate. The insurance plaques record policies taken out in April 1758 by Richard Brown "of Flower Felmonger" and August 1761 by Francis Jones "of Flower, Tythe Man". (Information from owner).

{3} There is a mounting block against the north wall of the Old Manor. It is 480x400x450mm in size. The top surface is grooved, 20mm deep.
