Summary

Originally a small chapel built in 1763 to replace a private room. This was superseded by the present building which was constructed in 1820. Brick (Flemish bond). Central doorway in arched brick frame has overlight with Y-tracery and 20th century door. 2 windows above with arched brick frames and Y-tracery.

Full Description

{1} Chapel. Datestone 1820. Brick (Flemish bond). Central doorway in arched brick frame has overlight with Y-tracery and C20 door. 2 windows above with arched brick frames and Y-tracery. Interior: the fittings are late C19. Formerly a Congregational Chapel.

{3} A small chapel built soon after 1763 to replace a private room seems to have preceded the present building. The latter, of brick with a slate roof, has a gabled S front with round-arched doorway, two upper windows with wooden Y-traceried frames, all with round-arched heads, and a small tablet with moulded cornice and the date 1820
