Summary

Cropmarks of a possible coaxial field system identified on aerial photographs during the Northants NMP project. A possible rectilinear enclosure with internal subdivision has also been identified in this area.

Full Description

{1} TL073938: Ring ditches of two periods. [SMR note 06/10/2010: this description does not tally with the NMP interpreted cropmarks and probably refers to Mon 114 to the east of given ngr.]

{2} Cropmarks of rectangular conjoined enclosures and other ditches. 25 inch sketch plot.

{3} NCCAP:TL0793/012-21+23+47-55.

{4} (TL072938) Ditches and enclosure on AP in 1980.

{5} (TL072939) Ditch recorded on AP in 1982.

{6} Recent cropmark photography {7} reveals the cropmarks of a rectilinear enclosure (with internal subdivision and indications of recutting) and linear features, probably of Prehistoric or Roman date, visible around TL 0740 9384.
