Building record 638/11/1 - Plume of Feathers Public House

Public house. C18 or earlier. Stucco. Steeply pitched old tile roof. Brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. Single storey plus attic. 3-window range. Central entrance has panelled door and wood doorframe. Hood. Entrance is flanked by canted oriel bay windows. Attic has three 2-light casements. Lead cames throughout. Painted brick dentilled eaves cornice. Interior not inspected.

{1}18th century or earlier, 2 storeys.,{2}Plume of Feathers public house - 17th century date. Demolition of adjacent building revealed ragged gable-line - indicating earlier roof covering, possibly of thatch.
