Full Description

House, now café. Late C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble. Stucco first floor on front to street. Steeply pitched renewed tile roof. Brick end stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window range. 2 entrances, one with overlight. 2 windows with moulded frames to ground floor, 3 similar to first floor including a blocked window. Flat band. Rusticated stone quoins. End to street. Wide, glazed window with hood mould and label stops. Canted oriel window on first floor. Mou :> cornice. Interior reported as containing C17 newel staircase with moulded handrail. Originally the Master's House for the adjoining Grammer School. Interior not inspected.
