Full Description

{1} Bank. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar. Brick end stack. Double-depth plan. Neo-classical style. 2 storeys. 3 bays. Entrance to right has panelled double doors. Sashes with horns to left. Ground floor bays separated by rusticated limestone pilasters and entablature. First floor has pedimented central bay. Roman Doric order. 3 sashes with cornices and corbels. Stone. Modillion console. Interior not inspected.

{3} Carefully designed mid C19 bank in Neoclassical style. Ashlar, 2 storeys. Ground floor has 4 rusticated pilasters, consoles, entablature. 1st floor Roman Doric order with pilasters, central projecting pediment; 3 windows under cornices on consoles.

{4} Building shown on map as bank. Now utilised by Natwest. Classical detailing to exterior, interior much altered, but plaster ceilings remain. Film 3, photo 24. Building adjacent to the bank is now utilised by Natwest, may have been an additional bank or a later addition to the original structure.
