Full Description

{1} Inn. Late C18 front. Stucco. Welsh slate roof. Brick ridge and end stacks. 3-unit plan plus accommodation over carriageway entrance to right. 2 storeys plus attic. 5-window range altogether. Carriageway entrance to right has plank doors with wrought-iron hinges. Entrance to left has renewed plank doors. Painted cement flat arch. A renewed 3-light casement with glazing bars to left and a tripartite sash with horns to right. 3 renewed casements with glazing bars to first floor. Attic has three 2-light casement. A 3-light casement over carriage entrance. Most windows have glazing bars. All windows have painted cement flat arches. Painted brick dentilled eaves cornice. Brick outshut to rear. Interior not inspected.

{3} Late C18 front. Stucco, Welsh slated roof with brick cornice. 3 storeys, 3 casement windows with glazing bars. Segmental carriage archway to yard.

{4} Dun Cow Public House on Brook Street, distinctive 18th century inn architecture. Retains carriage arch and buildings to the rear. Still in use as a public house. Film 4 photo 6.
