Building record 2659/0/17 - Nos.8 & 10 Oundle Road (Washbrook Cottage & Willowbrook Cottage)

{1} 2 houses. Early C18th. Regular coursed limestone with thatch roofs. 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 5-window range of casements, some with glazing bars, those to No.8 are under wood lintels and those to No.10 under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. Casements to attic, above, under eyebrow dormers. 2 C20 doors between window range under wood lintels. Ashlar stacks at ridge and end. The 2 houses are of different builds. No.10 has late C18 thatch wing to rear. Interior of No.8 has ceiling b ams and open fireplace with bressumer.

{2} 2 houses. Early 18th century. 2-unit plan. Single storey with attic. 5-window range. The 2 houses are of different builds. No.10 has late 18th century wing to rear.
