Full Description
{1} War memorial. Early C20. Limestone ashlar. Tall rectangular monument on plinth of 2 steps with flat pilasters at corners, having Corinthian capitals. Segmental pediment at head has central poppy emblem and 'W' inscribed. Central recessed rectangular panel has moulded stone wreath with ribbons. Wall attached to rear of plinth has semi-circular plan with square piers at ends surmounted by foliated ball finials. Inscribed tablets on the wall commemorate the dead of the First and Second World Wars.
