Full Description

{1} Public house. Early C18. Regular coursed lias, now part stuccoed, with C20 plain-tile roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 4-window range of casements, those at ground floor have glazing bars and that to first floor left has part leaded lights. C19 part-glazed double doors to left of centre have bolection moulded wood surround with panelled reveals. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and brick and stone stacks at ends. Late C18 and C19 extensions to rear. Interior not inspected. Wall and gatepier. Late C18/early C19. Brick with ashlar coping and panelled ashlar gatepier attached to right. Forms pair with wall and gatepier approx. 15m. north-east of The Manor House.
