Full Description

Farmhouse. Early C19. Regular coursed limestone with slate roof. Originally T-shape plan. 2 storeys. Entrance front of 4- and 6-light stone mullion windows with transoms and labels. Central C19 part-glazed door has moulded stone surround. Ashlar gable parapets with kneelers and ball finials at eaves. Ashlar stacks at ends. Elevation to left is similar with 4-light stone mullion and transom windows. Later C19 extension to rear. Ground floor windows have panelled reveals. House constructed from ma . Yelverton mansion which stood to north-east of Church of St. Peter and St. Paul (q.v.).
