Summary

Rectory, now house. Datestone 1850, by S.S. Teulon. Regular coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and fishscale pattern and plain- tile roof. Double-depth plan in Tudor style.

Full Description

{1} Rectory, now house. Datestone 1850, by S.S. Teulon. Regular coursed limestone with ashlar dressings and fishscale pattern and plain- tile roof. Double-depth plan in Tudor style. 2 storeys with attic. Entrance front of 3-window range of 4-, 6- and 10-light stone mullioned windows with transoms. Gabled cross wing breaks forward to left with C19 ribbed door in lean-to porch to right. Central eaves dormer with wooden roof dormer to right. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and lateral brick stack and brick and stone stacks at ridge and end. Datestone and armorial plaque between windows at first floor. 2-window range to right is similar. Elevation to left is similar with large canted stone bay. Rear elevation has large stone-mullioned and transomed staircase window with short square tower to left with bell cupola. Interior not inspected but noted as having original staircase.
