{2} In 1914 Kelly's Directory records a business operating at 62 Gold Street under the name of Thomas Kilborn, plumber and glazier. The business continued to be recorded at the site in 1940 when it was named Thomas Robert Kilborn & Son. However, Blair's Directory of 1969 showed that the business had moved. Reference is made to Thomas Robert Kilborn as early as 1890 but no address is given.
