Full Description

{1} Fieldwalking survey undertaken prior to 1977 identified Romano-British finds at TL021968 possibly indicating the site of a Roman settlement.

{2} Roman settlement (TL 021968) SE of the village on limestone at 60 m above OD. A scatter of Roman pottery has been discovered.
