Full Description
{1} The area surveyed was located along the line of Watling Street Roman Road in order to establish whether an extensive Roman Field system existed in the area. A total of twelve grids 20m x 20m were surveyed. Two weak magnetic anomalies were detected possibly indicating the former side ditches of the Roman Road.
