Full Description
{1}The Nether manor had a bakehouse which its tenants were obliged to use. This bakehouse fell into decay for a period in the 1280s and, because there was no other bakehouse in the town, the tenants ‘went of their own will’ to the lord’s bakehouse. Once the priory bakehouse was repaired, all the tenants returned.
