Full Description
{1} Eight coins ranging from a denarius of Vespasian to the House of Valentinian and a plate brooch found November 1992-January 1993.
Eight coins ranging from an antoninianius of Tetricus I to a coin of Gratian found with a pair of tweezers and a Langton Down type brooch in August 1993.
A further 74 coins were found in October 1993 ranging from two antoniniani of Claudius II to two issues of the House of Theodosius and three brooches, three bracelet fragments, a jet counter, a glass vessel base and a copper alloy vessel fragment.
7 coins ranging from an antoninianus of Claudius II to a falling horseman type of Constantius II in October/November 1993.
A Colchester type brooch and six coins ranging from an antoninianus of the Gallic Empire to the House of Theodosius in January 1992.
{2} 59 Roman coins, apart from a worn as and a coin of ?Antoninius Pius, all coins later 3-4th century. Roman pottery and limestone scatter also noted.
{3} 42 coins ranging from Tetricus I to the House of Valentinian found, along with a Nauheim derivative brooch, in 1991-2.
{4} 33 Roman coins plus copper alloy finds (furniture terminal, nail cleaner, stud, rivet, strap end) found January 1996.
