Full Description

{1} Finds made between 1987-9 by RFJ Kings include 88 Roman coins, one 3rd century (Antoninus Pius) and the remainder 3rd and 4th century down to Gratian. Other finds include parts of 9 Roman brooches, a button and loop fastener and an upper quernston of Hertfordshire Puddingstone.
Finds between October 1989 and 1990, include a total of 14 coins dating from Saloninia to Theodosius with the exception of a very worn denarius of Mark Antony, part of a base of a Samian dish, and a segment of a copper alloy bracelet with scroll decoration.
