Full Description

{1} Mill leat feeds into a large roughly triangular pond, now dry and planted with trees. A substantial earthwork bank marks the south side of the pond. The pond starts to narrow at its east end and it is here that there is an earth dam up to 5m wide at base and up to 1.5m high. Though covered in dense vegetation sufficient was visible of the dam to confirm the presence of a depression in its top, close to its presumed south end.
