Full Description
{1} Production of specialised equipment or manufacture of precision parts carried out at a number of places in Northampton including: Airflow Streamlines (engine cowlings for various types). The following premises were requisitioned for Lancaster work in Northampton during WW2 : Airflow Streamlines, Far Cotton (engine cowlings).
{2} "Brothers George and Alan West set the vehicle parts firm up in 1942 to make parts for bombers in World War 2." Contracted to make parts for Lancasters. Premises initially in a loft in Overstone Road; later at Far Cotton; after the war the compant made components for ambulances and aircraft.
