Full Description

{1} Late C18th barn unlisted and in poor condition. Stone with pantile etc. (see phots). Possible attatchment with the mill but unlikely. Probably a hay barn/animal shelter for the estate.

{2} A level II building recording survey was carried out. The building is roofless and the floor of a two-storey element at the western end has collapsed or has been removed. The barn appears to be the sole remaining structure of a larger complex of buildings probably built in the second of the 19th century. The barn was likely to have been a chaff house. The demolished cattle shelter to the south was probably a later development probably around the middle of the 19th century.
