Summary

A bowl barrow 600m north east of Rose Farm. It is about 26m in diameter and 0.25m high, with a broad, almost flat top 2m across. A quarry ditch, approximately 5m wide, surviving as a buried feature, surrounds the mound. Scheduled

Full Description

{1} Snowden's Meadow. Possible round barrow in low lying area close to Nene.

{2} Slight trace of a ditch recognised during flooding; Hall & Foard (1976); Fieldname: Snowdens Meadow.

{3} Bowl barrow visible as a flat-topped circular mound up to 0.5m high and 26m in diameter. Although no longer visible at ground level, a ditch, from which material was quarried during the construction of the monument, surrounds the mound. The ditch has been infilled, but survives as a buried feature identifiable on aerial photographs.

{5} Earthwork- possibly a Bronze Age Barrow; c 30 metres in diameter and 0.25 metres high; a broad nearly flat top c. 2 metres wide. No trace of a ditch.
