Full Description

{2} A pit alignment intersecting 3 parallel ditches.

{3} Trial trench evaluation identified two parallel ditches aligned north-south. These were 0.50m and 0.57m wide with shallow U-shaped cuts filled with greybrown silty-clay. They were 0.40m and
0.18m deep but both were below the level of the water table. No finds were recovered however industrial magnetic residue, indicative of burning was recovered from the fill of one of the ditches.
