Full Description

{3} A number of intercut gullies which appeared to fall into four phases. The interpretation of the earlier phases was made difficult by the later phases having destroyed much of the pattern. However the first two phases seemed to form a stock pen although the gullies alone would not have been stock proof. The third phase was interpreted as a drainage gully and the fourth phase could not be interpreted. The pottery yielded few diagnostic pieces but was dated to the late pre-Belgic and Belgic periods.
