Large manorial complex associated with All Saints Church. Indeterminate earthworks including buildings sites and fishponds have now been largely destroyed.

Full Description
{1} House on site of ruins of church was built: "Mr Underwood's dwelling house in which are large arches & in cellar rooms with arched roofs
{2} Remains of the manor to which All Saints church was attached was found 40ft north east of the church. A cess pit with culverts draining into it was later altered to burn mortar for use in church rebuilding, possibly in the 14th century.
{3} Excavation c.40ft north-east of All Saints Church; dressed stone walling found extending to east; associated large cess pit with culverts; traces of burning revealed suggesting lime kiln; possibly remains of manor to which church was originally attached; buildings were demolished to ground level; Earthworks of medieval fishponds, situated 'below the church';
{?} In 1400 capital message with dovecote and courthyard and garden heldby Nic. Pyell called Draytons place; anciently Robert de Belle.
{?} Medieval manor; John Underwood built a manor in C18th "with ruins of All Saints Church" near to Church site
{7} Indeterminate earthworks including fishponds, which have now been largely destroyed
{8} The fishponds below the church have recently been filled in (06/11/67)
