Full Description

{9} Earthworks of the medieval manor of Bozeat. There are at least 3 rectangular closes running west from London Road, bounded by banks and scarps up to 1.75m high and subdivided by low scarps. The banks are constructed of limestone rubble. The closes are subdivided by low scarps and the centre one has a large ditched and banked enclosure within it at its western end. There are no traces of buildings in these closes.
