Full Description

{1} Two conjoined subrectangular enclosures and pits, seen on aerial photos NCCAP:SP9269/030-33.

{2} A possible Iron Age or Roman enclosure is visible on aerial photographs and was mapped as part of the Bedford Borough NMP project. The enclosure is located west of Stone Cross Farm and centred at SP 92696 69293. The roughly square enclosure measures about 21m across, A possible earlier enclosure is visible underlying its south side. Numerous pits are also visible to the south and southwest.
