Monument record 4106/0/1 - Romano-British Linear Ditch System

Cropmarks show conjoined rectangular enclosures indicating a Romano British settlement. Roman pottery found.

{1} Roman Settlement (SP 825884), on Northampton Sand at 129m. above OD. Air photographs (in NMR) show cropmarks of what may be a group of conjoined rectangular enclosures.

{5} SP 82528847. RB pottery found 1959 by Mr A.T Chubb, No.246 Towcester Road, Northampton.

{6} The indicated site is under crop. Mr Chubb is at present away from home and his mother could offer no further information
