Summary

Cropmarks of a linear feature nearly 1km long and aligned WSW to ENE have been identified on aerial photographs. Archaelogical excavation on part of its route found no evidence of a road.

Full Description

{2} A strip map and sample excavation was undertaken at Maidford Hall School. Although route of the road should have crossed the excavation area, no evidence for it was found.
