Full Description

{2} A large rectangular hedged paddock, now deserted, which was divided into four long closes running east – west. To the east of this was another group of smaller closes which look as if they were an encroachment on the green.
In 1746 one of the closes had a cottage at its east end. The cottage existed in 1840 and 1874, but was demolished soon after 1900.
